Extra Learning Resource at the U of M ☺

This semester I am taking 15 credits. I want more but I know that I might not be able to handle that. That’s why instead of taking actual credit class I try using the resources available to students at the U of M to try new things.

One of my favorite resources is Lynda.com. Starting Fall 2013 every student at the U of M has a free access to multiple programs starting from a beginner’s course in drawing to an advanced programming tutorial!

What is even more helpful is that every video course, they offer, is accompanied by free exercise files and a transcript which you can refer to if you do not understand something!

All you need to do to access it for free is search Lynda.com through onestop.umn.edu and then sign in through U of M identification page or just follow the link: http://www.oit.umn.edu/training/online-training/lynda/

I also use it as an awesome listening comprehension material: not only you learn something new but improve your English at the same time!

The course material selection is really huge and you can use it to catch up if you learn better by watching!

Make sure to use it!
