DISA's Boat Party

Who doesn't love boats? Everyone loves boats! That's why boat parties are awesome!

On 24th November in celebration the Day of the Dead, a Latin American cultural holiday, the Domestic and International Student Association (DISA), in association with Latino International Student Association (LISA) and International Buddy Program (IBP), held a boat party on a cruise boat that sailed across the Mississippi river. The party was a chance for some 100 students to get together and connect with each other, have fun aboard a boat and make new connections.

It was an amazing experience with all the fun activities and games on the day, with a large number of international students and domestic students showing up and bonding with each other and making new friends. As an officer of DISA, I helped organize it and got to meet a lot of new people and the amount of support we received from the student body was amazing!
