Timberwolves game with Ambassadors

Minnesota has several professional sports teams including the Minnesota Twins (baseball), Minnesota Timberwolves (basketball) and Minnesota Vikings (American Football).

All three stadiums where the teams play are actually a 5 minute lightrail ride downtown! The Timberwolves play at the Target Center though.

Founded in 1989, the Minnesota Timberwolves has developed into one of the 29 National Basketball Association (NBA) teams in the United States. A bunch of star basketball players got their start here, including Kevin Garnett and Kevin Love; allstars. The mascot, named Crunch is a wolf who goes around and just highfives everyone and really keeps the energy going throughout the game! It's such a fun time.

This Wednesday, a group of 6 ambassadors went to the game between Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder. The game was quite lopsided, with Oklahoma City Thunder winning 138-113 and Russel Westbrook scoring 37 points, but it was fun to watch. The Timberwolves were led by Kevin Martin and Andrew Wiggins, who dropped 29 and 23 points respectively. Regardless, it's an amazing atmosphere with thousands of people cheering on the young team we have.

A fun thing the Wolves do (along with our baseball team, the Twins) is they have "college night" where if a student has their ID they can buy a ticket to the game for only $5. It's an extremely cheap and fun couple of hours!
