The Best of December? The Lights!
Posted on December 10, 2015 by Vanessa Villarroel DiazEvery year the University of Minnesota student group Tesla Works puts on an amazing light and music show with over 200,000 LED lights. The show, a tradition now after its fifth year on campus, is presented the first and second weekends of December. It is designed by students and free for everybody (how great!). They also have free hot chocolate and cookies on the premier night. So if you are around and need a break from studying for finals, definitely plan on going!
This is a picture I took from the show last year. They have two snowmen now!
You can find more information about the schedule on the following link: https://cse.umn.edu/news-release/student-designed-winter-light-shows-begin-dec-4-at-the-university-of-minnesota/
If you are a not on campus, the College of Science and Engineering uploaded the complete show from last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zJrMUFZtwI. But plan on attending it when you are on campus.
